5/26/23 Awards Day/Promotion Ceremony

Kella Battiste is Miss Newberry Middle School 2023. As a part of her reign, she got to choose an organization of her choice to present $1000 check to. After interviewing teacher sponsors of various groups, Kayla has decided to put her donation to the Newberry Middle School, Athletics Department.
Kella  is a part of the girls basketball team and volleyball team and would like for this money to support a new skill equipment, meals for home games, and sponsoring one or two students who may not be able to participate in sports without additional funding. She said, “Sports can change his students entire future, and I want to help make that happen. “
